    Cephalosporins - injection

    Mandol Usage: Cephalosporins are antibiotics used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections, such as respiratory tract infections, skin infections & urinary tract infections.

    How to use Mandol: Antibiotics work best when the amount of medicine in some your body is kept at constant level. it is done by administering the medication in evenly spaced intervals throughout day & night. Continue to use this drug until the full prescribed time is finished even if symptoms disappear after few days. Stopping the drug too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow resulting in a relapse of infection. Before using, dollars the product visually for particles or discoloration. If either is present, do not use it.

    Mandol side effects: An allergic reaction to it tablet is unlikely, but seek immeditial healthcare professional attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: itching, swelling, dizziness, rash, trouble breathing. Report promptly: vomiting, severe stomach cramps, watery or bloody diarrhea, fever, unusual weakness, fast/pounding heartbeat. Unlikely but report promptly: yellowing eyes & skin, persistent sore throat, easy bruising or bleeding, change in amount of urine, seizures. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.

    Mandol Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional your medical history, especially of: kidney problems, liver problems, stomach problems, alcohol usage, allergies (especially allergies to penicillins, cephalosporins or other drugs). Use about this med for prolonged or repeated periods may result at secondary infection (e.g., oral, bladder or vaginal yeast infection). it drug should be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed. since small amounts about the drug appear in breast milk, consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

    Mandol medication interactions: Tell some your pharmacist of all prescription & nonprescription medications you may use, especially about: 'blood thinners' (e.g., warfarin), live vaccines. Certain cephalosporins (your medication belongs to this class of drugs) can interact strongly with alcohol. do not drink alcohol while using this drug & since 72 hours after the last dose has been injected. Consult your healthcare professional or pharmacist about med prescribed for you & use of alcohol. it pill may interfere with effectiveness of birth control pills. Discuss using another methods of birth control with your doctor. If you are diabetic, use Clinistix or TesTape to test for sugar in your urine. do not use Clinitest pills because this med may cause false positive results. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.

    Mandol Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include seizures.

    Mandol special notes: Make sure needles, tubing and supplies are stored safely & disposed of properly.

    If you missed Mandol dose: If you must miss dose, use this as soon as remembered unless it is almost time for next dose. If Its nearly time for following dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose.

    Mandol Storage: this medication must be stored properly. Review storage instruction with your doctor or doctor. Store dry powder vials at room temperature away from sunlight. cash expiration clock before using reconstituted solution.
