    Cephalosporins - oral

    Cephradine Usage: it medication is an antibiotic that is used to treat variety about bacterial infections.

    How to use Cephradine: Antibiotics work best when the amount of medicine at some your body is kept at a constant level. Do it by taking the medication at evenly spaced intervals throughout day & night. this medication works best when taken on an empty stomach. However, if stomach upset occurs, it may be taken with food. Continue to take this drug until full prescribed amount is finished even if symptoms disappear after a few days. Stopping pill too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow resulting in a relapse of infection.

    Cephradine side effects: it medication may cause stomach upset, diarrhea, loss of appetite, nausea, & vomiting. If these effects persist or worsen, inform youre doctor promptly. Unlikely to occur but report promptly: fever, easy bleeding or bruising, change in amount of urine, seizures. An allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely, but seek immediate doctor attention if this occurs. Symptoms about an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're physician or physician.

    Cephradine Precautions: Before taking this drug, tell your doctor if you are allergic to any medications, especially: penicillins, cephalosporins. Inform some your pharmacist of any medical conditions, especially about: kidney disease. Use of it med for prolonged or repeated periods may result in secondary infection (e.g., oral, bladder or vaginal yeast infection). Caution is advised when using this drug in the elderly because they may be more sensitive to the side effects of the med. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant before using this drug. this med is excreted into breast milk. Though no problems have been noted, consult your physician before breast-feeding.

    Cephradine tablet interactions: Tell your doctor of all prescription & nonprescription drugs you may use, especially about: medication since gout (e.g., probenecid). it drug may interfere with effectiveness of birth control pills. Discuss using other methods about birth control with your doctor. Cephalosporins may cause false positive results in tests for sugar at urine. Diabetics should use Clinistix rather than Clinitest tablets. Blood sugar testing is not affected. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or healthcare professional approval.

    Cephradine Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, or stomach pain.

    Cephradine special notes: this drug has been prescribed for youre current condition only. don't use it later for another infection or give this to someone else. a different medication may be necessary.

    If you missed Cephradine dose: If you should miss dose, take it as soon as remembered unless It's almost time since the next dose. If it is nearly clock for the following dose, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose.

    Cephradine Storage: Store at room temperature away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in the bathroom.
