Tetrahydrozoline HCL Usage: this medication is used in the eye to relieve redness, burning and irritation due to dry eyes, allergies or minor irritations.
How to use Tetrahydrozoline HCL: it medication is for use in eye as directed. One or two drops are placed in affected eyes up to four times day. Apply eye drops as follows: Wash hands 1'st. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch dropper or let it touch your eye. Shake the eye drops well before using. Tilt your head back, gaze upward & pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch. Place dropper directly over eye & administer the prescribed number of drops. see downward & gently close you're eye for 1 to two minutes. Place one finger at the corner of the eye near nose & apply gentle pressure. it will prevent the pill from draining away from eye. Try not to blink and do not rub the eye. don't rinse the dropper. Wash hands after use. If you using another kind about eye drop, wait at least five minutes before applying other medications.
Tetrahydrozoline HCL side effects: this medication may temporarily sting or burn your eye since a minute or two when first applied. If this continues or becomes bothersome, inform you're pharmacist. Vision may be temporarily blurred or unstable since some minutes after applying eye drops. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify some your pharmacist if you develop: skin rash, eye pain, swelling in or around eyes, vision problems. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.
Tetrahydrozoline HCL Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional if you have: other illnesses, allergies (especially drug allergies). this tablet should be used with caution during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Discuss risks & benefits with your physician.
Tetrahydrozoline HCL drug interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may use, including: another eye medications. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or healthcare professional approval.
Tetrahydrozoline HCL Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Tetrahydrozoline HCL special notes: If condition for which this was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after a few days, consult your doctor.
If you missed Tetrahydrozoline HCL dose: If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as remembered; do not apply this if this is near time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Tetrahydrozoline HCL Storage: Close the container tightly after each use. Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. Discard this if the solution turns brown, cloudy or contains particles.
