Capsules & long-acting tablets must be swallowed whole with a full glass of water. do not crush or chew them. the long action will be destroyed & the chance of side effects will be increased. liquid suspension form of this med must be shaken well before using.

Deltuss side effects: Dizziness, headache, loss about appetite, nausea or dry mouth may occur the first several days as your body adjusts to medication. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform some your healthcare professional. To relieve dry mouth, suck on (sugarless) hard candy or ice chips, chew (sugarless) gum, drink water or use saliva substitute. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake about alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Notify your pharmacist if you develop any of next effects while using this medication: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, HBP, tremors, nervousness, hallucinations. If you missed Deltuss dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near the time for following dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Deltuss Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in bathroom.
