    Decongestant - nasal drops

    Simular Drugs : Privine, Privine

    Privine Usage: it drug promotes nasal drainage & relieves nasal stuffiness. It's used to relieve symptoms associated with cold, hay fever, allergies, sinus infections & other related conditions. it is also used to relieve plugged ears.

    How to use Privine: it drug is used in nose as directed. To apply nasal drops, 1-st blow some your nose to help improve penetration of the med. Lie flat on bed or couch with you're head hanging over edge. Apply correct number about drops to each nostril affected being careful not to touch container to inside of nostril. Move some your head from side to side for a minute or two. don't use this more often than directed or increase your dose. Therapy usually lasts for 3 to 5 days. Excessive use about it medication can actually increase nasal congestion.

    Privine side effects: Stinging, burning, sneezing, increased nasal discharge, drying of the nostrils, and altered taste may occur. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform some your pharmacist. Notify your doctor if you develop: rapid or pounding heartbeat, dizziness, trouble sleeping, shaking of the hands, tremors, unusual weakness. it medication may cause dizziness. Use caution engaging at activities requiring alertness. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

    Privine Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: history of heart disease, thyroid disease, diabetes, hypertension, seizure disorder, glaucoma, any allergies (especially to sulfites). the elderly & children may be more susceptible to effects of this tablet. Use this with caution. it medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with you're healthcare professional. since small amounts about it med are found in breast milk, consult youre healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

    Privine drug interactions: Tell youre doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take, especially: HBP medicine, anti-depressants, cough-and-cold medicine, allergy medication. do not start or stop any medicine with out physician or physician approval.

    Privine Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, unconsciousness, sweating, dizziness, headache, or unusually fast heartbeat.

    Privine special notes: there are various nasal decongestants available, much about without a prescription. Discuss with your healthcare professional or doctor the best product for you.

    If you missed Privine dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if this is near the time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.

    Privine Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 & 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in the bathroom. do not share container with anyone else. Throw away container when the medication is no longer required.
