Calamine Medicated Usage: this med is an antihistamine used on skin to relieve itching associated with various skin disorders such as insect bites, sunburn or poison ivy.
How to use Calamine Medicated: this med is since topical use only. Clean & dry affected area as directed. than apply a little bit bit of medication on the skin. a thin layer is all that is needed. Cover with bandage if directed to do so. do not use large amounts or apply it more often than directed. some your condition will not clear faster, but side effects may be increased. Use carefully if applying to the face. Avoid contact with the eyes, nose and mouth.
Calamine Medicated side effects: this tablet can cause burning, redness, or a rash. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop any of these symptoms occur. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or physician.
Calamine Medicated Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: other illnesses, other infections, any allergies. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with some your doctor. It's not known if this med is found in breast milk. Consult you're doctor before breast-feeding.
Calamine Medicated drug interactions: Tell you're pharmacist about any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may use, especially about: skin products containing hydrocortisone. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.
Calamine Medicated Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed. Symptoms of overdose may include abnormal eye movements, dry mouth, change in amount about urine, fever, hyperactivity, bizarre behavior, or seizures.
Calamine Medicated special notes: If the condition for which it was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after few days, notify you're doctor.
If you missed Calamine Medicated dose: If you miss dose, apply this as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Calamine Medicated Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. don't store in the bathroom.
