    Guaifenesin - oral

    Guiadrine G 1200 Usage: this drug is used to relieve dry cough & helps to loosen phlegm and mucous in lungs so you can 'cough-up' (expectorate) mucous.

    How to use Guiadrine G 1200: Take each dose of it pill with a full glass of water. Water will also help break-up the mucous & clear congestion. Drink plenty about fluids while taking this medication, unless you're doctor instructs you otherwise. do not take this medication for chronic, persistent cough such as occurs with smoking or asthma unless directed by your doctor. If cough lasts for more than one week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by a fever, headache or rash, consult you're pharmacist.

    Guiadrine G 1200 side effects: this medication may cause stomach upset or rash. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your healthcare professional. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact youre pharmacist or physician.

    Guiadrine G 1200 Precautions: If you have any of the following health problems, consult youre healthcare professional before using it med: breathing problems such as emphysema/chronic bronchitis/asthma, smoking, any allergies. this drug must be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with some your physician. Its not known if this tablet is excreted in to breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

    Guiadrine G 1200 drug interactions: Tell your doctor about all medicines you may use, (both prescription and nonprescription), especially: other cough-and-cold medicines. Guaifenesin may affect results of certain lab tests. Be sure you're caregivers are aware you use this medicine before lab tests are performed. don't start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

    Guiadrine G 1200 Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, fatigue, weakness, dizziness, and unusually slow heartbeat.

    Guiadrine G 1200 special notes: this medication comes in variety of dose forms such as tablets, capsules, long acting tablets or capsules and syrup. Ask your physician or pharmacist to recommend the best product for you.

    If you missed Guiadrine G 1200 dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if Its almost time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double dose to catch up.

    Guiadrine G 1200 Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture and sunlight. do not store in bathroom. don't freeze liquid forms of it drug. do not store syrup in the refrigerator.
