    Iron with ascorbic acid - oral sustained release

    Warning: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is leading cause of fatal poisoning in kid under 6 years of age. Keep this product out about reach of child. If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate healthcare professional attention or call a poison control center.

    Fero Grad 500 Usage: Iron is an important mineral used by red blood cells to carry oxygen through the body. Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) improves the absorption of iron from the stomach. this medication is used as a dietary supplement to prevent or treat iron deficiency anemia.

    How to use Fero Grad 500: it medication is usually taken 1 time day as directed. this drug is best taken on an empty stomach but may be taken with meals if stomach upset occurs. Take it drug with full glass (8 oz or 240 ml) of water, unless your pharmacist directs you otherwise. do not lie down since 30 minutes after taking it medicine. Timed release capsules & tablets to be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew them or the long action will be destroyed and possibility about side effects increased. do not exceed recommended dosage.

    Fero Grad 500 side effects: most human can take it tablet with minimal or no side effects. Stomach upset may occur. Stools may appear darker in color due to the iron. don't be alarmed. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact some your pharmacist or physician.

    Fero Grad 500 Precautions: don't take ferrous sulfate (iron) with-out consulting a doctor if you have: ulcers, colitis or intestinal disease. this med must be used during pregnancy or while breast-feeding only if recommended by your physician.

    Fero Grad 500 drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially of: chloramphenicol, penicillamine, methyldopa, levodopa, cimetidine, quinolone antibiotics (e.g., ciprofloxaxin, norfloxacin). Avoid taking iron in same clock as antacids or tetracycline antibiotics. Wait at least two hours between taking iron & an antacid or tetracycline. Because ferrous sulfate can cause false results in tests for blood in stools, tell the doctor or laboratory personnel that you take ferrous sulfate. Eggs & milk decrease iron absorption. Coffee and tea that is drunk with a meal or 1 hour after meal may also decrease iron absorption. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or healthcare professional approval.

    Fero Grad 500 Overdose: Accidental overdose about iron-containing products is leading cause of death poisoning in child under 6. If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

    Fero Grad 500 special notes: few iron products contain vitamin C which is believed to increase iron absorption. there are much of iron supplement goods available. some can be purchased with-out prescription. Consult youre doctor or physician on choice of product best for you. it tablet isnt substitute to proper diet. it is important to maintain well balanced diet. Foods rich in iron include beans, nuts, asparagus, oatmeal, red meat, dried peaches, and pork liver.

    If you missed Fero Grad 500 dose: Take missed dose as soon as you remember; don't take if It's almost time for the next dose. Instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

    Fero Grad 500 Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from moisture and sunlight. do not store in the bathroom. Keep out of the reach of kid.
