Allerx Usage: Antihistamines provide relief about symptoms about allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes and sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining & improve breathing.
How to use Allerx: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. it is recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking this tablet, unless your pharmacist instructs you otherwise. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or are accompanied by high fever, notify some your pharmacist. do not increase the dose or take this more frequently than recommended. the suspension dosage form must be shaken well before each use.
Allerx side effects: may cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability and dry mouth & nose. These effects should subside as youre body adjusts to the med. If they persist or become bothersome, inform you're doctor. Notify some your doctor if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in the ears, difficulty urinating. may cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from seated or lying position. Change positions slowly & be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.
Allerx Precautions: Tell youre physician you're medical history, especially of: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, HBP, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, med allergies. check it product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult youre pharmacist promptly if this contains PPA or if you are uncertain this product has PPA. do not drink alcoholic beverages. this tablet should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult your physician before breast-feeding. do not give this med to child younger than six years of age unless directed to do so by pharmacist.
Allerx drug interactions: Tell your doctor what medications you take, especially of: high blood pressure meds, anti-seizure drugs, antidepressants, sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain drug, other cold or allergy medication. do not take this drug if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within the last two weeks. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.
Allerx Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose in child may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.
Allerx special notes: do not share this product with others.
If you missed Allerx dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
