Honey Tussin Cough Usage: Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant used to relieve a dry, hacking cough.

How to use Honey Tussin Cough: Take this medication by mouth as prescribed. don't increase your dose or take this more often than directed.

Honey Tussin Cough side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, or stomach ache may occur the 1st few days as your body adjusts to the med. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from a seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit youre intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, nervousness, confusion. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.

Honey Tussin Cough Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: lung problems (e.g., asthma, emphysema), allergies (especially drug allergies). this drug must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with your doctor. since small amounts of this medication are found in breast milk, consult youre doctor before breast-feeding.

Honey Tussin Cough medication interactions: Tell some your doctor about any over-the-counter or prescription medication you use, especially of: MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine). do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or healthcare professional approval.

Honey Tussin Cough Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

Honey Tussin Cough special notes: If cough worsens, last for longer than one week or is accompanied by high fever, notify your healthcare professional.

If you missed Honey Tussin Cough dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near clock for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Honey Tussin Cough Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 & 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. do not store in the bathroom.
