Phenylhistine Dh Usage: Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. the low-dose narcotic antitussive helps control a cough. the antihistamine is for relief from sneezing, runny nose, water eyes. it combination product is used to treat symptoms associated with common colds, allergies, hay fever & other respiratory illnesses.

How to use Phenylhistine Dh: Take this medication as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. don't increase your dose or take this more many times than directed. it medication is best taken with a full glass about water after meal or snack.

Phenylhistine Dh side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, stomach upset or dry mouth may occur the 1st several days as youre body adjusts to drug. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Notify your pharmacist if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, HBP, difficulty urinating, tremors, nervousness, hallucinations, breathing trouble. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or physician.

Phenylhistine Dh Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, HBP, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, a history of med dependency, any allergies. Use caution performing tasks requiring alertness if it med causes you to feel drowsy. check this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Phenylhistine Dh drug interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, including: blood pressure medications, antidepressants, sedatives, tranquilizers, sleeping pills, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), cimetidine, narcotic pain medication (e.g., codeine). Limit your intake of alcoholic beverages while taking this medication. don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or physician approval.

Phenylhistine Dh Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include drowsiness, headache, dizziness, weakness, profuse sweating, slow or quick heartbeat, slow or shallow breathing, hyperactivity, fever, seizures, or unconsciousness.

Phenylhistine Dh special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking it medication. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.

If you missed Phenylhistine Dh dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if this is near the time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Phenylhistine Dh Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. do not store in bathroom.
